The Season of the Wolf

animals challenges divination focus inner strength magick oracle readings Seasons of the witch witch witchcraft wolf

Tonight I'm doing something different. I haven't done an Oracle card pull, so doing one tonight. Using the Seasons of the Witch Samhain Oracle deck by Juliet Diaz for tonight's reading. I love this beautiful deck.

Here is tonight's card:

I look at this card and I see a duality going on within you. You exercise both qualities of an introvert and an extrovert. It's often confusing even to yourself. You sometimes wonder how others around you must perceive you. Some days you want to be a social butterfly, others you want to curl up on the couch and never leave the house again. This is a normal feeling, even though you often beat yourself up over it. There is no need to feel this way.

Each of us has an inner wolf. No, not the wolf meme we often see people posting to show how tough they are. This one is different, its deeper. This wolf is our inner introvert. The one who says its OK to stay on the couch, or to stay home and work on that project you've been putting off. More importantly, the inner wolf that says its OK to love yourself and take care of yourself first. You often put others' needs ahead of your own.

Your inner wolf says its time for that to stop. Take the time to care for yourself. Take the alone time you need to recharge. While you enjoy the company of others, its also highly draining for you. So, do it in small doses at your speed. Not the speed of others. Stop letting others dictate your schedule and telling you what you need and start listening to your wolf. Let it off the leash and let it roam. You'll be amazed at how much stronger you'll feel.
